We are looking for an experienced and motivated TGT Social Science Teacher to teach students of Classes 4 to 6. The teacher will be responsible for making Social Studies engaging and relatable, helping students understand history, geography, civics, and basic economics in an interactive and contextual manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Social Science subjects as per CBSE curriculum for Grades 4 to 6.
- Design lesson plans, teaching aids, and activities that make learning enjoyable and effective.
- Use digital tools, storytelling, role-play, and project-based learning methods.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback and support.
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and values of responsible citizenship in young learners.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers and participate in school development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related fields
- B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualification (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school at middle or upper-primary level
- Proficiency in English with strong classroom communication skills
- CBSE curriculum familiarity is essential
Skills Required:
- Ability to simplify complex concepts using visual and practical methods
- Strong classroom management and student engagement techniques
- Use of digital tools and multimedia content in classroom teaching
- Passion for teaching and working with children in formative years
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: 45,000/month
- Bond: 2 to 3 years mandatory
