Job Role: CBSE TGT Sanskrit
Core Purpose
To teach Sanskrit to middle school students with clarity and consistency, strengthen their language skills, and support their academic development as per CBSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Sanskrit to Classes VI–X as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments that build strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, translation, and literature.
- Use engaging methods such as storytelling, recitation, and activities to develop interest in the language.
- Evaluate student performance, maintain records, and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for examinations, competitions, and subject enrichment activities.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional academic support when required.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create an interactive, student-friendly learning environment.
- Participate in departmental planning, school events, training sessions, and academic activities.
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sanskrit or a related discipline.
- BEd as per CBSE norms.
- Strong command over Sanskrit grammar, literature, and pedagogy.
- Good communication, classroom management, and student engagement skills.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
