Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified TGT Sanskrit Teacher to teach students in the Middle and Secondary School grades (Classes VI–X) in a CBSE residential school environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and a commitment to fostering appreciation for Sanskrit language, literature, and Indian cultural heritage.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Sanskrit to students of Classes VI–X as per CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Prepare and implement engaging lesson plans that promote language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
- Explain Sanskrit grammar, vocabulary, literature, and classical texts in an age-appropriate and student-friendly manner.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, projects, and examinations to evaluate student progress.
- Provide remedial support and individualized attention to students requiring additional assistance.
- Organize and participate in Sanskrit-related activities such as debates, recitations, shloka competitions, cultural programs, and language clubs.
- Contribute to the holistic development and well-being of students residing on campus.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree with Sanskrit as a subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Sanskrit, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
