Position Overview

Thirumala Public School is seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated TGT Mathematics Educator to teach Grades 7 through 10 under the CBSE curriculum. We are looking for an educator who will fully immerse themselves in our vibrant school community, promoting a culture of experiential learning. Qualifications And Experience

Mandatory Requirements:

Education: Postgraduate degree in Mathematics (M.Sc./M.A.) alongside a completed B.Ed. from a reputed college or university.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of active teaching experience in CBSE Mathematics, specifically for Grades 9 and 10.

Core Skills: Exceptional subject matter expertise, strong grasp of experiential pedagogical methods, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Excellence & Experiential Learning:

Curriculum Delivery: Plan, design, and deliver highly engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for Grades 7 to 10.

Experiential Learning: Integrate hands-on activities, math lab experiments, and real-world applications into daily instruction. Move beyond rote memorization to foster a classroom environment where students learn through experience, discovery, and practical problem-solving.

Board Preparation: Equip students for board examinations by emphasizing conceptual clarity, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and advanced problem-solving skills.

Inclusive Education: Conduct tailored remedial sessions for students needing extra help and enrichment sessions to challenge advanced learners.

Student Development & Mentorship

Holistic Growth: Actively participate in and facilitate co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

Student Mentorship: Serve as a mentor to students, guiding their personal, social, and academic growth beyond standard coursework.

Leadership & Administration

Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the mathematics department and wider faculty to foster a positive, team-oriented school environment.

Future Leadership: Demonstrate initiative and leadership qualities, with a readiness to take on academic or administrative responsibilities as required by the school's growth.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience handling school administrative responsibilities or departmental leadership.

A strong track record of producing excellent board exam results.
