In This Role, You Will- Develop and implement engaging and well-structured lesson plans aligned with the CISCE History curriculum for middle and secondary school levels.
- Deliver content through storytelling, discussion, debates, and source-based learning to make history meaningful and relevant.
- Use a variety of teaching aids such as maps, timelines, primary sources, audiovisual material, and digital tools to enrich classroom instruction.
- Design assessments, worksheets, projects, and assignments to evaluate students understanding and analytical skills.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations with structured revision plans and exam-oriented practice.
- Encourage participation in history quizzes, exhibitions, heritage clubs, and inter-school competitions.
- Collaborate with Social Science faculty on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum planning.
- Maintain accurate academic records and communicate student progress regularly with parents and guardians.
- Participate actively in school events, professional development initiatives, and faculty meetings.
- Maintain classroom discipline while fostering an inclusive, respectful, and discussion-oriented learning environment.

To Be Successful in This Role, Candidates Should Possess- A Bachelor's degree in History or Social Sciences (History as a major).
- B.Ed is mandatory; M.A. in History or a related discipline is preferred.
- Teaching certification recognized by the CISCE board.
- Strong subject knowledge .
- Minimum of 23 years of experience teaching History at the middle or secondary level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain historical events, concepts, and timelines with clarity and contextual relevance.
- Experience in guiding project work, map work, and source-based questions.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources for teaching History.
