TGT Computer Science Teacher

Job Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive Computer Science curriculum for higher secondary (Class 6 to 10 th grade) students.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practical lab sessions aligned with the latest syllabus and industry standards.
• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Mentor and guide students on academic projects, coding competitions, and research initiatives.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate interdisciplinary learning and promote technology-driven pedagogy.
• Maintain classroom discipline, create an inclusive learning environment, and encourage critical thinking.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in computer science and incorporate relevant topics such as AI, data science, and cybersecurity into the curriculum.

Essential Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification).

• Strong foundation in core Computer Science subjects: algorithms, data structures, programming languages, databases, operating systems, and networking.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to manage a classroom and foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Desired Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the higher secondary or junior college level.
• Hands‑on experience with programming tools and environments (e.g., Python, Java, C++, IDEs, and version control systems).
• Experience in guiding student projects, hackathons, or coding competitions.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital assessment tools is an added advantage.
