Role Summary

Orchids The International School is seeking a passionate and experienced Higher Secondary Biology Teacher to deliver engaging Biology lessons, mentor students, and contribute to academic excellence through innovative, technology-enabled teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Biology lessons aligned with the CBSE/ICSE curriculum for Grades XI & XII.
• Prepare annual lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, practicals, and board-oriented assessments.
• Conduct laboratory experiments while ensuring safety and proper documentation.
• Evaluate student performance through formative and summative assessments and maintain academic records.
• Guide students for board examinations and competitive exam preparation where applicable.
• Create an inclusive, engaging, and disciplined classroom environment using smart classroom tools.
• Collaborate with parents, coordinators, and colleagues through PTMs and academic meetings.
• Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and professional development programs.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Biology / Zoology / Botany / Life Sciences (Mandatory)
• B.Ed. (Mandatory)
• 3–6+ years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE school preferred
• Excellent English communication and classroom management skills
