Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Textile Designer with 2 to 4 years of experience to contribute to our design department. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for textiles, excellent creative abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop unique designs that resonate with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative textile designs that align with the company's brand identity and market trends.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to conceptualize and execute design concepts from initial idea to final product.
- Conduct research on emerging trends, color palettes, and fabric techniques to inspire new design concepts.
- Create detailed design specifications and technical drawings for production purposes.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality standards are met.
- Participate in design presentations and meetings to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Stay updated on industry developments and technological advancements in textile design software and techniques.
- Assist in the development of seasonal collections and product lines, ensuring they meet market demands and customer preferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in textile design, preferably in a similar industry or role.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CAD software.
- Strong understanding of textile production processes, fabric properties, and printing techniques.
- Excellent creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for color, pattern, and texture.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy in work.
