Responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing soft home furnishing products for export markets, including decorative cushions, bedspreads, curtains, throws, table linen, etc. The role involves trend forecasting, CAD development, and sample coordination with tailors and craftsmen.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design soft home furnishing products for exports (Cushions, Bedspreads, Curtains, Throws, Table Linen, etc.).
- Develop CAD designs using Adobe Photoshop and other design software.
- Forecast color, design, and market trends for international/export buyers.
- Translate buyer requirements into product designs and sample developments.
- Coordinate with tailors, craftsmen, and sampling teams for sample execution.
- Ensure timely completion of product development and sampling.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in design and production processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong understanding of buyer requirements and product development processes.
- Ability to manage sampling and product development within timelines.
- Good organizational skills with a proactive and team-oriented approach.
- Strong eye for detail and ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) is an added advantage.
- Candidate must be based in Gurgaon.
