As an SDET-1, you aren't a script maintainer. You are an AI-first Quality Architect. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between legacy automation and the future of autonomous agentic workflows. If you want to move from writing code that tests to building AI that tests, this is your seat.
The Pillars Of Impact
- Agentic Framework Engineering (50%) :
- Architectural Excellence : Build and scale deep-level frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Appium) designed specifically for AI-driven execution.
- AI Augmentation : Integrate LLMs and Agentic tools into the SDLC to automate test generation and reduce human intervention by >50%.
- Performance Coding : Leverage strong DSA foundations to write highly optimized, non-blocking test code that scales with our platform.
- Autonomous CI/CD & Reliability (30%) :
- Pipeline Orchestration : Design seamless no-touch integration into CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) where tests trigger and analyze results autonomously.
- Root Cause Mastery : Use deep-dive debugging to eliminate flakiness, ensuring our AI agents have a stable environment to operate in.
- Full-Stack Ownership : Move beyond checklists; you own the quality strategy for your module from PR to Production.
- Tech Depth & Tooling (20%) :
- Polyglot Mastery : Solve complex technical hurdles across Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Cloud Infrastructure : Validate data flows across AWS/GCP, Dockerized containers, and complex DB architectures.
The Interview Loop : Screening for the Top 1% :
We look for problem solvers who thrive under pressure and think in systems, not just scripts.
- Technical I (SDET Leads) : Focus on Core DSA, live coding, and the why behind your Framework Architecture decisions.
- Technical II (Hiring Manager) : AI Hands-on Assessment. We will dive into how you use AI agents today to eliminate toil and speed up your workflow.
- Technical III (VP Engineering) : Solving for Scale. Well discuss debugging at scale and how you communicate technical risks to stakeholders.
- Final (CEO) : Vision Alignment. Are you ready to lead the era of Agentic Intelligence
Mandatory Non-Negotiables :
AI-Native Workflow : You don't just know AI; you use it daily (Copilots, Agents, LLM-wrappers) to be 2x more productive.
Engineering Depth : You must be able to explain the design patterns behind your frameworks. Note : Candidates with only manual or basic record-and-play experience will not be shortlisted.
Extreme Ownership : You take pride in shipping zero-defect features and don't wait for instructions to fix a broken pipeline.
