Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Testing Professional with strong skills in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL. You will be responsible for testing database-related applications, writing complex queries, validating data, and ensuring the accuracy and performance of backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements and prepare test plans and test cases.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data across different systems.
- Perform backend testing for Oracle databases using PL/SQL.
- Validate stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages.
- Identify, log, and track defects to closure using bug tracking tools.
- Perform data validation, data integrity, and regression testing.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other testers.
- Maintain documentation of test cases, test results, and issues.
- Ensure testing is completed within timelines and meets quality standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 611 years of experience in software testing, especially in backend/database testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Ability to write, modify, and optimize complex queries.
- Experience testing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Good knowledge of database structures, data types, and relationships.
- Familiar with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
