Position: Testing Engineer
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 12 Years (CT/PT or electrical testing preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and type testing of Current Transformers (CT) and Potential Transformers (PT) as per industry standards.
- Conduct insulation resistance tests, ratio tests, polarity tests, and accuracy class verification.
- Maintain testing records, calibration logs, and test reports.
- Identify defects and coordinate with production/QC for corrective actions.
- Ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
- Follow safety guidelines during high-voltage testing.
- Support senior engineers in technical troubleshooting.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of CT/PT testing procedures
- Understanding of electrical measurement instruments
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow testing standards and documentation
