Job Title: Testing Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Testing Engineer to ensure that manufactured products meet quality, safety, and performance standards. You will be responsible for conducting tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform product testing and inspection at various stages of manufacturing
Develop and implement test procedures and quality standards
Conduct mechanical, electrical, or functional testing (depending on industry)
Analyze test results and identify defects or deviations
Work with production teams to resolve quality issues
Maintain records of test data and prepare quality reports
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and safety regulations
Calibrate and maintain testing equipment
Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions
Required Skills
Knowledge of quality control processes in manufacturing
Familiarity with testing tools and equipment (e.g., gauges, meters, calipers)
Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
Basic knowledge of statistical quality control (SQC)
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Attention to detail
Technical Skills (Depending on Industry)
Mechanical testing (tensile, hardness, fatigue testing)
Electrical testing (voltage, current, insulation testing)
Use of quality tools like Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
Experience with ERP/QMS systems
Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
03 years experience (Freshers can apply for junior roles)
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Quality Control / Six Sigma (Green Belt)
Experience in manufacturing industries like automotive, electronics, or machinery
