You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software specifications and requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and provide feedback.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not broken by new changes.
- Analyze test results and report on quality metrics to stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies and frameworks, including both manual and automated testing.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Ability to use bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
