Summary:

As a Testing & Validation Engineer, you'll ensure the safety, performance, and regulatory compliance of our lithium-ion battery packs. This involves comprehensive testing, data analysis,andcompliancewithIEC,UL&UNstandards.Yourworkiscriticaltooursuccess in theBattery industry.

KeyResponsibilities:

Develop&executethorough testplans based onIEC,ULand UNstandards.

Performelectrical, environmental,safety, andabusetestson batterypacks.

Analysetestdatatoassessperformance andidentifyissues.

Preparedetailedtest reportsand recommendationsforimprovement.

Ensurecompliancewithall relevant safetyand performancestandards.

Collaboratewithdesignengineerstoenhancebatterypackdesign.

Stayup-to-date withevolvingregulations andindustrybestpractices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master'sinElectrical/ElectronicsEngineeringorrelatedfield.

3+ years ofexperienceintestingand validatinglithium-ionbatteries.

Provenabilitytodevelopandexecutetestplansforcomponentsofbatterypacklike Cells, BMS, Connectors, Fuses, nickel strip, bus bars etc.

In-depthknowledgeofIECstandards(62133, 62619, 62620),UN&ULstandards

Stronganalytical,problem-solving,andcommunicationskills.

ExperienceinESSLithium BatteryPackIndustrywillbepreferred.

DesiredSkills:

Experiencewithbatterypackdesignanddevelopment.

Experiencewith PCANand similartools,J1939protocol.

FamiliaritywithHPPCTest,DCIRTestandother relevanttestoncelllevel.

ExperiencewithcomponentlevelanalysisofBMSlikeMOSFETs,CONTACTORSetc.

Experienceinthermalanalysisofbattery,Cells,andBMS.

Experienceinanalysisof componentslikethermal pad,PCM,Pottingmaterials.

Experienceand invalidation ofmaterialpurity.

Knowledgeof UN38.3(transportationofdangerousgoods),UL,IECstandards.

FamiliaritywithESS,electricvehicle,orbatterymanufacturing.

FamiliaritywithinstrumentslikeCRO,DATA LOGGER,CELLCYCLERSetc.
