Job Area: Operations Group, Operations Group > Test Technician

General Summary:

Responsible for the execution of test methodologies for various technology, following and adapting established procedures, or helping to define procedures as needed. Debugs and troubleshoots issues or failures, reports results, and may recommend root causes and solutions. Performs set-up, maintenance, and/or repairs of specialized test equipment, and may provide input on equipment selection.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

1+ year of testing, measurement, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of semiconductor, RF testing, or related work experience.

Job Overview Power/Thermal Software products team at Qualcomm to achieve industry leading Power/Thermal/Limit SW management solution on Qualcomm Compute, Mobile, Automotive, IoT and AR/VR chipsets. In this position, the candidate will be working with cross functional teams on Power & Thermal testing/measurements for compute products, need to develop tools and methodologies to improve the power/thermal profiling In addition, the candidate will be responsible for analyzing the Power/Thermal testing features, designing test parameters, creating customized quality checks, and writing up final test procedures for the quality technicians. Minimum Qualifications Diploma/BSC in electronics , Bachelor's degree in Engineering Electronics or related field. 1+ years experience with Programming Language such as Manual/Automation Testing, Python, etc. Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity on Testing procedure, handling the HW, manual/Automation testing.

Good Problem Solving Skills, Ability to troubleshoot the HW setup issues and think out of the box.
