We at Coforge are hiring for Test Specialist role with following skill sets:
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage)
- Database & Querying Skills: Advanced proficiency in writing SQL queries is mandatory; experience with database management systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or Snowflake.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schema)
- Experience in data migration and validation testing
- Knowledge of data quality and reconciliation techniques
- Familiarity with automation tools / scripting (Python preferred)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS) is an advantage
- Validate ETL processes including data extraction, transformation, and loading across systems.
- Perform data reconciliation between source and target databases.
- Validate data mapping, data transformations, and business rules.
- Execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and integrity.
- Test data migration and integration workflows across environments (SIT/UAT/Prod).
- Identify, log, and track data defects, inconsistencies, and anomalies.
- Validate data quality checks such as (Record counts, Duplicate checks, Null validations, Data type validation)
- Perform end-to-end testing for data pipelines and ETL jobs.
- Support automation frameworks/tools for data validation (e.g., Python-based, ETL tools).
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
