Test Specialist

We are seeking a Test Specialist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on quality assurance for web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for new and existing software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform regression testing to ensure software updates do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for continuous integration and deployment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or C#).
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit).
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
