Test RAN Lead/ArchitectQualitest is seeking an experienced RAN Test Lead/Architect (10-15 years of experience) for end-to-end testing for Radio Access Network (RAN) systems, including planning, execution, defect management, and team mentoring. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in 2G/4G/5G along with the ability to drive testing strategy, automation, and process improvements. He/she will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring network quality, system reliability, and seamless integration between RAN and core networks. Key Responsibilities
- Lead RAN features, Software Upgrade, new Baseband/Radio/HW validation test planning, execution, and reporting as per Lab scenarios
- Design and execute test scenarios, cases, and scripts
- Validate RAN systems (BSC/BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, gNodeB)
- Perform integration testing between RAN and Core Network (CN)
- Manage defect lifecycle using tools like Jira
- Ensure test environment readiness and deployment support
- Analyze call flows, network behavior (MO/MT, handovers, data sessions)
- Mentor team members and support test manager in planning activities
