Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Pimcore Tester with 5-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the Pimcore platform and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our Pimcore implementations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively analyze requirements, design test cases, and execute testing strategies to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Pimcore applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on Pimcore implementations.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Provide training and support to junior testers and team members as needed.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Pimcore platform.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in performance testing tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Pimcore.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
