Job Description – QA Automation Engineer (C# & RestSharp)

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in C# Automation and RestSharp. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts for CIJ products. The ideal candidate should have experience working with device-based applications on Windows or Linux platforms and possess a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on testing and quality assurance activities for CIJ products.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and RestSharp.
- Create and execute API, functional, integration, and regression test cases.
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks for improved test coverage and efficiency.
- Validate device-based applications running on Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and automation artifacts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation strategies.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in C# Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience with RestSharp for API automation testing.
- Experience in Design and Development of Automation Scripts.
- Knowledge of Test Case Design and Execution.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with device-based applications, preferably on Windows or Linux platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with test automation frameworks and best practices.
- Understanding of API testing concepts and tools.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with defect management and test management tools.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Proven experience in automation framework development and API testing using C# and RestSharp.
