Location- Bangalore
Roles And Responsibilities
12–15+ years of experience in Software Testing with strong expertise in
embedded systems, Android applications, and test automation architecture.
Role Summary
The Test Lead / Test Architect will be responsible for
defining the overall QA strategy, building scalable automation frameworks, managing QA teams, and ensuring high product quality for Logitech's Video Collaboration devices and related applications. The role involves working closely with
product management, development teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive quality across embedded, Android, web, and API layers.
Test Strategy & Architecture
- Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy across embedded devices, Android applications, web applications, and APIs.
- Design and establish test automation architecture using Selenium, Python, and Playwright.
- Define automation framework standards, reusable libraries, and coding guidelines.
- Ensure optimal test coverage across UI, API, system, integration, and device-level testing.
Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and mentor a team of manual testers and automation engineers.
- Own test planning, estimation, scheduling, and execution across multiple releases.
- Ensure timely defect identification, triaging, and resolution coordination with development teams.
- Monitor and report test metrics, quality KPIs, defect trends, and release readiness.
Embedded & Device Testing
- Drive testing for Video Collaboration devices and embedded systems.
- Ensure coverage across Android platform, device firmware interactions, and networking scenarios.
- Coordinate testing involving device configuration, networking environments, and hardware validation.
Automation & CI/CD Integration
- Build and enhance UI and API automation frameworks using:
- Selenium with Python
- Playwright
- PyTest
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins / DevOps tools.
- Ensure automated execution for regression, smoke, and release validation suites.
Test Process & Quality Governance
- Establish and improve test processes, quality standards, and best practices.
- Implement shift-left testing approaches and automation-first strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing efficiency and defect prevention.
Collaboration
- Work closely with product owners, developers, DevOps teams, and stakeholders.
- Participate in requirement reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
- Provide technical guidance on testing strategy and risk mitigation.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Strong experience in QA leadership, test architecture, and automation strategy
- Hands-on experience with Selenium + Python automation frameworks
- Experience with Playwright automation
- Expertise in API testing using Postman / automation frameworks
- Experience in embedded systems testing
- Knowledge of Android platform testing
- Experience in Web Application testing
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Experience with Git version control
- Expertise with JIRA, Agile, and DevOps workflows
- Good understanding of networking concepts (IP, MAC, proxy, HTTP/HTTPS)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Video Collaboration / Conferencing Devices
- Exposure to Linux-based systems
- Experience with test lab setup and device test environments
- Performance or reliability testing exposure
- Knowledge of test data management and test environment management
