Test Manager

• Test Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement test strategies, frameworks, and methodologies for core banking and payment systems.

• Define test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for banking and payments.

• Team Management & Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test engineers and QA professionals.

• Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and quality objectives.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training on testing best practices.

• Test Execution & Quality Assurance:

• Oversee end-to-end functional, regression, integration, performance and UAT testing.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.

• Core Banking & Payment Systems Expertise:

• Ensure seamless testing of core banking modules such as account management, loans, deposits, and transactions.

• Validate payment systems including inward/outward payments, card payments, and digital wallets.

• Work with vendors and third-party providers to integrate and test external banking solutions.

• Automation & Tools:

• Implement test automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

• Utilize automation tools like Selenium, Appium, UFT, Tosca, JMeter, Postman, etc.

• Ensure compatibility with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:

• Prepare and present test reports, defect analysis, and risk assessments to senior management.

• Work closely with product owners, business users, and IT teams to align testing with business goals.

• Ensure smooth UAT execution with business stakeholders.

• Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on BFSI (core banking & payments).

• In-depth knowledge of banking operations, transaction processing, and payment systems.
