Test Manager

Define and implement the overall test strategy for Investment or Finacle applications.

Lead and support the QA team across manual, automation, API, and database testing.

Design, develop, and guide the team in building scalable automation frameworks from scratch.

Drive automation using Selenium (Java/Python/C#) to improve test coverage and reduce manual effort.

Ensure proper testing of investment-related modules such as FD, RD, financial transactions, and reporting.

Ensure proper API testing for financial integrations and data validation.

Perform and guide database testing to verify data accuracy and backend processing.

Support basic security validation by checking common OWASP Top 10 risk areas.

Manage cross-browser and cross-device test execution using LambdaTest and BrowserStack.

Perform root cause analysis for major defects and production issues and take steps to prevent them from happening again.

Review and approve test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.

Monitor test execution, track defects, and ensure timely closure with development teams.

Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure clear requirements and proper test coverage.

Provide regular status updates, quality reports, and risk highlights to stakeholders.

Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and introduce AI-driven testing practices for future readiness.

Continuously improve the automation framework and overall QA processes

Strong hands-on experience in Selenium with Java or Python or C#.

Experience in Mobile testing and automation using Appium and frameworks like Maestro.

Proven experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch using different approaches.

Strong exposure to Performance Testing.

Good experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.

Domain experience in Investment applications, including Fixed Deposits (FD), Recurring Deposits (RD), and related financial modules.

Experience in financial transactions, reporting, and the overall investment process (from start to end).

Good understanding of Finacle core banking modules.
