Job Requirements*
- 6–8 years of experience in ETL / Data Warehouse / BI Testing, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or manager role
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts (fact/dimension tables, star/snowflake schema, SCDs)
- Expertise in ETL testing methodologies, data validation, and reconciliation strategies
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data analysis and root cause investigation
- Experience working with ETL tools (Informatica, Datastage, SSIS, Talend, etc.)
- Hands-on experience validating BI reports and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, BO, etc.)
- Experience in team management, task allocation, estimation, and delivery tracking
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models
- Domain exposure to BFSI / Insurance / Finance is a strong advantage
Key Responsibilities*
- Define and own the ETL testing strategy for Data Warehouse and BI programs
- Plan, estimate, and manage testing activities across multiple data pipelines
- Lead and mentor a team of ETL testers; review test cases, SQL validations, and defect analysis
- Ensure end-to-end source-to-target validation, including transformations and aggregations
- Oversee data reconciliation, data completeness, and data quality checks
- Validate full loads, incremental loads, delta loads, and historical data migrations
- Ensure BI reports and KPIs are accurately validated against warehouse data and business rules
- Manage defect triage, root cause analysis, and coordination with ETL/BI development teams
- Provide clear status reporting, risk analysis, and quality metrics to stakeholders
- Support UAT, production validation, and post-release data verification
- Drive continuous improvement in ETL testing processes, standards, and accelerators
