Job description:

Experience required: 8+ years

System Test Architecture (STA)

  • Define and own the System Test Strategy across programs, covering scope, environments, test data, integration touchpoints, nonfunctional testing, and quality dimensions
  • Establish the test execution model for system level and E2E testing, ensuring clarity across test teams.
  • Drive early engagement of STA during program intake to reduce later stage defects and rework.
  • Orchestrate environment enablement for system and E2E testing, including integration readiness, data dependencies, and deployment alignment.
  • Provide architectural guidance to testing teams on automation strategy, tools, prioritization, and coverage models.
  • Ensure testing scope evolves with program and interprogram business and technical changes.

Defect Management & Quality Governance

  • Define and govern the Defect Management framework across system, integration, and E2E testing phases.
  • Establish defect triage, prioritization, severity classification, and SLA adherence across programs.
  • Lead crossfunctional defect triage forums with Engineering, Product, TPMs, and Test Leads.
  • Track and report defect trends, leakage, root causes, and systemic quality risks at program and portfolio levels.
  • Ensure defects are assessed not only quantitatively but also through qualitative system quality assessments for release readiness and Go/NoGo decisions.
  • Enforce governance checkpoints and quality signoff aligned to STA milestones and release gates.
