Test Lead

Description

We are looking for a Test Lead to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with proven experience in leading testing projects and teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through effective testing strategies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing team in planning, executing, and reporting on testing activities.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and track defects and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating quality risks.
• Mentor and train junior testers and promote best testing practices within the team.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Proficient in automated testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or JMeter.
• Strong knowledge of test methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with performance testing, security testing, and mobile testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
