Job Description :
- Designs, develops, and executes functional test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage of application features and workflows.
- Performs end-to-end functional testing, including system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate application behavior.
- Understands business requirements, prepares test plans, test data, and test cases, and ensures traceability using requirement mapping (RTM).
- Designs, codes, and maintains automation scripts aligned with manual test cases to maximize coverage.
- Establishes baseline execution times for manual tests, compares automation efficiency, and documents ROI metrics.
- Executes automated test suites regularly and ensures results are tracked, reported, and communicated effectively.
- Logs defects in the tracking system with detailed reproduction steps and collaborates with developers for resolution.
- Knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools (such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar) is an added advantage.
- Ensures adherence to organizational QA processes, coding standards, and best practices.
- Works with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to integrate automated tests into build workflows.
- Provides clear documentation of test cases, automation scripts, and execution results for audit and knowledge sharing.
- Demonstrates strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in cross‑functional team environments.
- Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all organizational policies and standards.
- Selenium (Java), BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Serenity), Playwright
- REST API testing with Postman/SoapUI
- Strong knowledge of automation design patterns and reusable components
- CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Version control (Git/Bitbucket)
- SQL/database validation
- Defect tracking tools (JIRA, ADO)
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
