Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Safety & Security: Perform pre-flight safety inspections, demonstrate emergency equipment, ensure cabins are secure, and manage unruly passengers.
- Customer Service: Greet passengers, assist with seating and luggage, serve meals and beverages, and cater to special needs, such as unaccompanied minors or passengers with disabilities.
- Emergency Response: Administer first aid, manage emergency evacuations, and remain calm during turbulence or technical issues.
- Operational Support: Attend pre-flight briefings with pilots, complete post-flight reports, and ensure the cabin is clean and stocked. SHRM +7
Requirements & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some airlines prefer college education or customer service experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces.
- Key Skills: Strong communication, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, calmness under pressure, and teamwork.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
