TEST ENGINEERING TEAM LEAD

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of test engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes within timelines.
• Build career development plans and ensure the team stays aligned with current and future skill requirements.
• Use data-driven analysis to prioritize between short-term needs and long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, development managers, and scrum teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and encourage continuous learning within the team.
• Develop and maintain test scripts based on functional and technical designs.
• Contribute to the selection, validation, and implementation of QA tools and best practices.
• Understand user requirements, write test cases, build automation scripts, execute testing, debug issues, and deliver comprehensive reports.
• Support CI/CD processes and ensure seamless integration with automation frameworks.
• Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 811 years of experience in Quality Engineering, with at least 2 years in team leadership.
• Strong understanding of testing concepts, product architecture, and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in test case development, automation, debugging, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to own and drive product quality across teams.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

• Experience withSelenium, Cypress, or WebDriver I/O(C# or Java).
• Familiarity withAWSor other cloud platforms.
• Contributions to open-source projects, personal repositories, or tech communities.
• Relevant certifications in technology or Agile methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile-at-scale environments across global teams.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such asJenkins.
