Role : Software Development Test Specialist
Experience: 2 - 4 years
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
Mandatory Skills: API Testing + Rest Assured + Java
Knowledge and Skills:
- BTech/BE in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college.
- Experience in developing and designing automation testing frameworks
- Expertise in Automation testing.
- Experience in writing codes in Java
- Minimum 2+ years experience developing scripts and test automation (Java and knowledge on shell scripts will be add on).
- Experience in Backend testing, Frontend testing & automation testing using selenium webdriver
- Proficient in functional testing, API/Web-Services testing on Desktop and Mobile devices
- Practical knowledge of Agile Testing methodology.
- Experience with relational databases, designing schemas and formulating complex SQL queries.
- Good to have knowledge on Hybris, Jenkin, repositories and automation using appium.
- Should have a good idea and exposure in performance testing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Writing high quality code, participating in code reviews, participating in designing/architecting systems of varying complexity and scope, and creating testing framework supporting the design/coding tasks.
- Plan to automate and execute performance test website and all back-end services for every release and as requested
- Identify areas of improvement in our frameworks, tools, processes and strive to make them better
- Dive deep into the catalog data, understand different functional areas, and use your creativity to come up with techniques to improve the quality of our solutions.
- Own and drive the testing of our entire ecosystem that consists of several applications, workflows and processes.
- Spearhead a process driven approach to software testing and collaborate with your colleagues to maintain high quality standards of our deliverables.
