Test Engineer

We are looking for an ETRM Allegro Test Engineer (m/f/d) for our client in the energy industry ASAP.

Project/Product team: You will be part of the product team. The team is responsible for all changes in the ETRM Allegro system, whether they are small items or big features, as well as handling L3 incidents.

The key responsibilities of the team are:

Incident Management: Handling L3 Incidents and requests related to the systems they support.

ETRM Allegro System: Managing all changes and updates to the ETRM Allegro system, which includes both small items and big features. The team oversees the implementation of various modules and functionalities within the Allegro system.

Tasks:

• Designing test plans and test cases and aligning it with BAs and Developers
• Automating as much as possible test cases
• Performing functional tests
• Performing Regression tests
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Write testing documentation

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience in Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
• Understanding of Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) processes.
• Experience with ETRM systems; Allegro ETRM is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Power, Gas, Renewable, and Environmental commodities.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Test Plans, and Confluence.
• Ability to create and manage test cases, test execution, defect tracking, and test reporting.
• Experience in API testing, data validation, and basic SQL testing.
• Awareness of AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot or GitHub Copilot for improving test design and productivity.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for test case creation, requirement analysis, and documentation support.
