Experience: 6–9 Years

Skills: Selenium + Playwright

Location: Chennai, India

Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer who knows automation inside out and can own test strategy end-to-end. If Selenium is muscle memory and Playwright is more than tried once, this one's for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright
• Automate functional, regression, smoke, and integration test suites
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to shift quality left
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze failures, debug fast, and improve test reliability
• Review test cases, mentor junior engineers, and enforce best practices
• Ensure high tests coverage across web applications

Must-Have Skills

• 6–9 years of experience in Test Automation
• Strong hands-on with Selenium (Java/Python/JS)
• Strong hands-on with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred)
• Solid understanding of test design patterns & frameworks
• Experience with API testing (REST, Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, CI/CD
• Good grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Good to Have

• Experience with BDD (Cucumber)
• Exposure to Performance Testing (JMeter, Gatling)
• Cloud testing (AWS/Azure), Docker basics
• Cross-browser & parallel execution experience
