What You'll Do

Design and execute manual test plans for RESTful APIs & microservices Build and maintain automation frameworks primarily using Playwright (with Selenium as needed) Develop end-to-end UI and API test suites for modern web applications built on Spring Boot Perform performance, regression, and integration testing across distributed systems Collaborate with developers to define quality gates and acceptance criteria Own QA end-to-end from requirement analysis to production validation Champion shift-left testing and a quality-first engineering culture

What You Bring

Must-Have:2+ years of hands-on experience in manual + automation testing Strong expertise in Playwright browser automation, E2E testing, auto-waits, tracing, and parallel execution Experience with REST API testing using Postman / REST Assured Familiarity with TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber (BDD) Understanding of microservices architecture and testing distributed systems SQL proficiency for database validation (MySQL/PostgreSQL) Strong bug reporting, root cause analysis, and communication skills

Good-to-Have: Playwright Test Runner advanced features visual comparisons, multi-browser support (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit) Selenium WebDriver experience with Java Knowledge of Java & Spring Boot internals Experience with Docker and containerized test environments Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure testing Interest in AI/ML-powered applications
