Test Engineer

Skill Set:

• 2-4 yrs of experience in Software Verification Validation in Automotive Infotainment/Telematics Domain.
• Experience in SDLC, STLC (Software Test Life Cycle) with various Software Engineering activities like Requirement Analysis, Development of Test Plan, Test Cases and then Testing.
• Reporting the Software Bug and Re-Testing the fixed or resolved bugs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong reasoning, analytical and strategizing Skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently as well as a good team player as per project need.
• Should have experience in handling hardware to do the setups and should have used hardware tools like Oscilloscope etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Test Cases as per Software Requirements specification (SRS).
• Regular interaction with Systems Team and sought requirements clarification.
• Participate peer reviews for software test documents such as Test plan and Test Cases with the help of SRS.
• Use configuration management tools for code and software documents, change management tools for software error management.
• Responsible for executing the project from Requirements phase to Testing and submit Test Report for each iteration of testing, with defects identified and explained clearly.
• Analyzing requirements and technical specifications.
• Performing Peer to Peer Review and Pre-delivery check.
• Execution of System level testing and vehicle Testing
• Experience in validating Telematics ECUS
• Experience in Validating Download, diagnostics, FOTA, Canoe Simulation
• Experience in validating low-level drivers for hardware interaction (e. g. , camera interface, sensor drivers, display drivers, I/O Drivers (Input/Output Drivers), Camera Interface Driver, Video Codec Drivers, File System Drivers, Sensor Drivers, GPS Sensor Driver, Accelerometer and G-Sensor Drivers, Communication Drivers, USB or UART Drivers, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Driver, Firmware Bootloader, Real-Time Clock (RTC) Drivers, Motion Detection and Event Triggering
• Experience in validating GPS, LTE, BT, Wi-Fi, Cloud communication, OTA etc
