Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester with strong expertise in SQL and API Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating complex data, testing APIs, and working with backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of web and backend applications
- Write, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios
- Validate data using SQL queries (joins, indexes, complex queries)
- Test REST and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman or similar
- Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools
- Work closely with developers and business teams for issue resolution
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in SQL (tables, joins, indexes, query optimization)
- Hands-on experience in API Testing (REST & SOAP)
- Good understanding of database validation and backend testing
- Experience with tools like Postman / SoapUI
- Solid knowledge of SDLC & STLC
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
