Job Title: Test Engineer – Corporate Loans
Experience: 1.5 to 4 Years
Location: Mumbai (or as applicable)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineer with experience in the Corporate Loans / Lending domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, good understanding of loan lifecycle processes, and exposure to banking or financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for corporate loan applications.
- Understand and validate end-to-end corporate loan lifecycle (origination, underwriting, disbursement, servicing, closure).
- Analyze business requirements, BRDs, and FSDs and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute test cases, log defects, and track them to closure.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Perform API testing (if applicable) using tools like Postman.
- Validate data using SQL queries.
- Participate in UAT support and production validation.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC/STLC processes.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts.
- Experience in Corporate Lending / Loan Management Systems (LMS/LOS).
- Understanding of banking domain, especially corporate loans.
- Hands-on experience in test case design and defect management tools (JIRA, QC, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in API testing (Postman/Swagger).
- Exposure to automation testing (Selenium or any tool) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
