Roles and Responsibilities :
Must have Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of testing experience in IT industry preferably in Credit card/Finance domain. Required Technical skills, Functional Testing, TestNG
Description:
- Hands on technical skills on core mainframe technologies for 5+ years. Primary Skills: JCL, DB2, CICS expert in PL-SQL, FTP, knowledge on any Mainframe Scheduler.
- Knowledge on RDBMS and No-SQL platforms like Big data, Couchbase, Mongo DB
- Languages Java, PYTHON and JSON structure.
- Public & private Cloud
- Test automation suite and scripting experience using frameworks like Selenium, Karate or others.
- Good to have experience working in an integrated platform and dataflow with mix of technologies. Knowledge on: APIs, Rest & SOAP, Use of tools: SOAPUI, POSTMAN, Splunk.
- Must be good in documentation and acquainted with MS office tools specially Excel basic Operations such as V-lookups, Pivot tables, Remove Duplicates etc. Good to have knowledge on BI tools & reporting.
- Good understanding on different phases and deliverables of testing projects- Test plan, test approach, Test data, Test execution etc , including automation for test data, test bed setup and execution.
- Understanding on Customer journeys and defects lifecycle.
- Understand the data set up need and identify the SORs as per the workflow.
- Familiarity & experience with Amex test environment and platforms is preferred.
- Certification like ISTQB is a plus.
Project Practices:
- Required complete knowledge of SDLC process.
- Good to have knowledge in Agile tools & ceremonies. Functional Areas:
- Good to have Amex experience for min 1,2 years.
- Must be having functional knowledge of either credit card or banking or brokerage. Attitude:
- Should be flexible on the work timing.
- Should carryShould be logical and good in English communication.
- Critical thinker, evaluate test needs and make data driven decisions.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in a technical field
- Should have excellent verbal communication skills
