We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, functional testing, and automation engineering. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing scalable automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing to validate end-to-end application functionality.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for end-to-end web application testing.
- Perform API integration testing using Postman, validating REST APIs, authentication, request/response payloads, and error handling.
- Develop and maintain unit/UI automation using Cypress to improve application quality and test coverage.
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks and integrate automated test suites into GitHub Actions CI pipelines while supporting deployments through ArgoCD (GitOps Controller).
- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools while collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
- Optimize automation coverage, reduce manual testing effort, and continuously improve testing standards and quality engineering practices.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, mentor junior QA engineers, and prepare quality dashboards and test execution reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Software Testing, Test Automation, and Quality Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end web automation.
- Experience with Postman for API and integration testing.
- Experience with Cypress for unit/UI testing and automation.
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
- Experience integrating automated test suites into GitHub Actions CI pipelines and supporting deployments through ArgoCD (GitOps Controller).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Git-based version control.
- Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing containerized applications running on Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of GitOps, DevSecOps, and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is
a plus.
