Project Role : Test Automation Lead

Project Role Description : Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the overall testing framework by integrating advanced methodologies and tools that ensure high standards of control, accuracy, and data integrity. The position requires driving innovation in testing strategies, fostering continuous improvement, and enabling predictive and intelligent testing solutions that support the broader objectives of quality assurance within the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Lead efforts to implement best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align testing strategies with project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
  • Strong expertise in designing and developing automated test scripts using Playwright.
  • Experience in integrating test automation frameworks with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex testing issues to ensure robust test coverage.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages and test automation tools that complement Playwright.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance best practices.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Playwright.
  • The candidate should be willing to work from client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
