Summary:

As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the overall testing framework by integrating advanced tools and methodologies that ensure high standards of control, accuracy, and data integrity. The position requires driving innovation in testing strategies, fostering continuous improvement, and implementing intelligent automation solutions that anticipate and address potential challenges in the software development lifecycle. Collaboration and leadership are central to guiding teams toward achieving excellence in quality assurance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the adoption of innovative testing tools and methodologies to enhance automation capabilities.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to maintain high performance standards.
• Monitor and evaluate testing processes to identify areas for continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Java for test automation scripting
• Experience with backend test automation
• Experience with API test automation using Karate framework
• Experience with UI test automation using Selenium
• Experience with tools such as Postman/Rest Assured
• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber
• Exposure to working in a DevOps environment configuring and integrating automation scripts on CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or equivalent
• Experience with GIT or other version control tools
• Experience with relational databases and querying tools such as SQL server
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
• The candidate is required to work out of the Client Office in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days per week, as per the mandate
• A 15 years full time education is required.
