As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the overall testing framework by integrating advanced tools and methodologies that ensure precision and reliability. The position requires driving innovation in testing strategies, fostering continuous improvement, and implementing intelligent automation solutions that elevate the quality and integrity of software delivery across projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Must have typescript knowledge: Someone who can understand the typescript code and find the gaps in existing code
- Intermediate-to-professional level knowledge of automation: BY code is complex. we need someone who has that level of knowledge in automation
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead initiatives to improve testing processes and promote best practices within the team.
- Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align testing objectives with overall project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience in designing and implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Ability to develop and maintain scalable automated test scripts.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in test execution and reporting.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in TypeScript.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
