Job Description: Test Automation (Java/Selenium/Playwright/BDD/Rest) – Senior Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Expert to join our quality engineering team as a Senior Test Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. The role requires strong expertise in automation frameworks, Java programming, and test strategy development.

Required Qualifications

Experience should have 3+ years to 5 years of QA functional testing.
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Programming, or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation testing within a commercial/software development environment.
At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in Java programming.
Strong experience in creating automation test scenarios and test cases based on functional specifications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, team player and extremely resourceful.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope and timeline.

Preferred Skills

Experience with automation tools/frameworks - Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Playwright, BDD framework.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and QA teams.
Execute automation test suites and analyze results to identify defects.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of automation frameworks.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions.
Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
Provide detailed test reports and communicate findings effectively.
