Test Automation Engineer

Role: Test Automation Engineer

Experience range: 6-10 years

Location: Hyderabad

NOTE: Relevant Automation Testing experience must be 5 years

Job description:

1.Min 7 to 10 yrs of Exp in Automation

2.Hands on experience in delivery in agile methodology (scrum, lean etc.)

3.Experience in creation of application specific test strategy and Automation test plan

4.Expertise in creation / maintenance of Test Automation framework (Hybrid / TDD / BDD) from scratch

5.Expertise in creation of API / UI Automated test scripts using Selenium with Java & RestAPI/SoapUI

6.Participate in reviews of automated and manual tests and has the drive to enhance automation coverage thereby minimizing manual testing

7.Assists team members in troubleshooting the root cause of complex technical issues and implementation-related issues.

8.Experience using Test management Tools (like, JIRA, HP ALM, Rally or ADO) for end to end test management

9.Experience setting up and executing tests through CI/CD pipelines, added advantage if he knows Azure DevOps

10.Expertise in DB testing is an added advantage

11.Experience in identifying, deriving and reporting value delivered by automation

12.Strong analytical , problem-solving & Reporting skills

Strong stakeholder management and problem solving skills

13.Expert in using code repository tools like GITHUB or GITLAB. Should be able to review & approve peer's code.

14.Should be able to assist and train junior automation testers.

15.Contribute to System test methodologies, test plans, and highly effective test automation by creating and executing automated system tests as needed

16.Have extensive experience with all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing, manual and automation (Selenium) testing Requirements

17.Experience to Katalon, Parasoft,

18.Strong experience in test plans and test cases

19.Excellent understanding in SDLC and STLC

20.Sound knowledge on SQL queries

21.Experience in bug management tools like ADO
