We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in
Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of QA methodologies, test automation best practices, and modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Build and enhance automation frameworks for web applications
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in software testing and automation
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred)
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
