Job Description
Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain reliable automated tests for web and mobile applications. Must to Have Strong Mobile Automation - Appium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver.
- Build and maintain mobile automation tests for Android and iOS applications using Appium.
- Design/maintain reusable automation frameworks, utilities, test data, and page or screen object models.
- Write clear, maintainable, and reliable tests scripts.
- Review requirements and acceptance criteria for testability, business Priorities, risks and missing scenarios.
- Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and automation best practices/guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.
- Help improve test coverage, execution time, framework stability, and release quality.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Analyse test failures, identify defects, and provide useful technical evidence to developers.
- Report, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Required Qualification:
- 6-9 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver and web automation.
- Experience testing Android and iOS applications on real devices, emulators, or simulators.
- Experience with test execution, assertions, and reporting.
- Good understanding of locator strategies based on AUT platform.
- Understanding of mobile testing concepts such as gestures, permissions, orientation, notifications, and device or OS coverage.
- Good to have Knowledge of REST API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or an equivalent tool.
- Familiarity with Git and pull-request-based development.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development practices.

- Clear communication and effective teamwork.
- Attention to detail and risk-based testing mindset.
- Ownership, curiosity, and persistence when troubleshooting failures.
- Ability to ask clear questions and explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical teams.
