Summary:

As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and utilizing automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role requires overseeing the entire quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation, aiming to improve control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position involves continuous monitoring and refining of automated testing frameworks to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software products, while collaborating with various stakeholders to align testing strategies with project goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance automation efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of automation strategies with overall project objectives.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium, Investment Banking, Java (Programming Language).Proficiency in Playwright, Investment Banking, VeriFix, FIX Protocol, Jira.
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium, Verifix.
• Extensive knowledge of FIX Protocol and experience working with FIX-based trading applications.
• Ability to integrate automated tests with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment banking, and trading platforms.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging automation scripts to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Familiarity with version control systems and collaboration tools to manage test artifacts and documentation.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in Selenium, Verifix, FIX protocol.
• This position is based at our Pune Magarpatta office, 2 days a week.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
