Summary:

As a Test Automation Engineer, Responsible for design, development, configuration, and support of payment processing components built on ICON IPF, ensuring high performance, scalability, and resilience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and configure IPF components
• Implement payment validation and routing logic
• Build microservices and APIs for payments processing
• Integrate with schemes and upstream/downstream systems
• Support SIT, performance testing, and production issues
• Contribute to CI/CD and automation frameworks
• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on quality objectives and project timelines.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing, Java Enterprise Edition, Spring Boot, Payments Fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Experience in integrating automated testing within continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• 5–10 years of Java / Spring Boot experience
• Strong microservices and API development skills
• Payments systems or core banking experience
• ISO 20022 message handling knowledge
• CI/CD, Git, containerization exposure.
• Hands-on ICON IPF implementation experience
• Performance tuning of real-time systems
• Cloud-native payments platforms exposure
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 -10 years of experience in Automated Testing.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
