Job Summary:

The Test Automation Engineer specializes in creating and maintaining automated test suites using modern frameworks like Cypress and Playwright. This role is crucial in ensuring application reliability, performance, and consistent delivery by integrating test automation into the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress or Playwright
Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies
Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing across web applications
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback
Log, track, and validate defects to ensure proper resolution
Analyze test results and ensure application quality standards are met
Contribute to improving overall testing practices and processes
