About the job
We are looking for an experienced candidate to automate ECU functionalities using Python in automotive domain.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech (ECE, CSE, EEE, IT, Mechatronics)
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 10+ years of automotive experience, with 10 years of experience in Test automation.
Hands on experience in Test Automation using Python.
- Strong experience in Python, unit testing framework like Pytest, unittest.
- Good Knowledge on CAPL scripting and vTestStudio.
- Good Exposure to Windows and Linux operating Systems.
- Hands on experience in Test script development in Virtual test environments and HIL environments using dSpace tool chain like Control Desk, VT System.
- Experience using the configuration management tools like GitHub, etc.
- Experience with Communication protocols i.e., CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, XCP, SOME I/P
- Prior experience with Automotive Sub-Systems like, Exterior Light / Interior Light / Chassis / ADAS / Connected Vehicles.
- Good understanding of testing standards.
- Familiarity with ASPICE, Agile SW development methodologies.
- Possess strong initiatives, problem solving skills, and ability to work in a diverse team environment, good at documenting the software.
- Excellent communication and presence skills, and the ability to negotiate and reach agreements with cross-functional teams and other groups.
- Hands on experience in configuring test cases and trigger the automation testing in CI/CD pipelines.
Desired Skills
- Hands on experience in developing re-usable Test libraries and Test scripts using Python that can be used for different levels of virtual testing.
- Experience with branching strategies and variant management using continuous integration systems.
- Experience team and customer handling.
- Experience with various review techniques like peer reviews, walk throughs, of testing work products (test cases, test scripts, test plans, test reports etc.)
Experience
10+ Year of experience with Test Automation in automotive domain.
